Brick Yard Development Honors Its Roots
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...
Construction has started on the north side of the
125-acre development, where a series of two- and
three-story office buildings will be built. Plans
have been submitted to the Maryland-National
Capital Park and Planning Commission to build
about 1,360 residential units in single-family
homes, townhouses and apartments on the south end
near the Muirkirk MARC station. Those plans are
expected to be approved in June, Aylward said. Jan

The Brick Yard
http://www.the-brick-yard.com/
The Brick Yard incorporates an environmental and
community sensitive landscape plan with careful
recognition of the history and importance of the
contributions made for the last 100 years by the
Washington Brick Company and others. Although the
clay pits are no longer being mined and the fire
of the kilns no longer bake the shields to protect
our homes and offices, the history will continue
with the rebirth of this community with a mix-use
business park. Dec 15, 2006

Brick Yard project takes shape in Pr. George’s Co.
http://65.213.146.1/sacramento/othercities...
It will be called The Brick Yard to pay homage to
the site’s former user. But the $500 million
project unfolding in Prince George’s County
will be vastly different from its industrial
predecessor. Work has started on a
750,000-square-foot office complex on the
property’s north side, and plans have been
submitted for 1,300 residential units and assorted
retail space on the site’s south end, next
to the Muirkirk MARC station. Dec 21, 2007
