The "Los Tios Pizzeria & Grill" that opened September 26 at Crystal Plaza has been renamed (back) to "Los Tios TexMex & Grill". They no longer offer Pizza. They do have a very nice menu of TexMex food. [this article includes a discount coupon that expires Oct 31, 2007]

Doc’s Grille, a gourmet burger and hot dog restaurant that was scheduled to open this week is the latest in a series of new eateries that are turning the Crystal Plaza shopping center in South Laurel into a destination for high-quality take-out. ‘‘It’s a place you can go expecting to get an inexpensive but nice meal with a variety of choices,” said Garold Stone who blogs about South Laurel. ‘‘You don’t have to make up your mind before you go.” June 21, 2007

You walk in the door and immediately hear the sounds of Caribbean music. Customers, some tapping their feet, wait in line to place their orders at a long counter filled with a variety of entrees and vegetables. On the left, an ocean scene, complete with palm trees and a bright orange-and-yellow sunset takes up an entire wall. On the right, a painting of a large turtle fills another wall, appearing to swim through waters that are several brilliant hues of blue. And then the spicy aromas hit you, and you know you're in Island Flavors, a new Caribbean cuisine restaurant that opened April 21 in the Crystal Plaza Shopping Center on Route 197. May 3, 2007

Today at Crystal Plaza i ran into the proprietor of the Cameron's Seafood store. He said he hopes to open in March.
