Screw it! Making thumbnails for the Web used to be painstakingly slow if you wanted to apply borders, drop shadows, transformations, alpha channels, and so on. Or if it was fast, you ended up with a boring field of rigid columns and rows. Thumbscrew allows you to quickly and easily chew through a bunch of images, applying scaling, random rotation, border, and drop shadow to each – even resizing the original, and processing the batch as a whole afterwards.
Firefox Mac Community Builds I'm holding off on 1.5.0.5 builds at the moment, as there is a moderately serious streaming media bug that came with it. There is talk about pushing a 1.5.0.6 out the door quickly to resolve this bug, I'm waiting to see what happens. -ElFurbe

I wanted a simple and fast way to exchange small files, like Word-Documents, Pictures, URLs, etc. iChat and similar tools need much configuration and registering - I wanted a technique that would "just work". I used to use Mac OS X' FileSharing and the DropBox, but I don't get notified, and I have to mount the other user's Home DropBox by hand. Additionally the number of logged in users on Mac OS X Client is limited. Since no tool existed for this purpose, I made my own (as usual) :-)).
