There is absolutely no doubt about the fact that business owner's who are successful are true entrepreneurs. It is these individuals who figure out the ways to sell their products or promote their services the most successfully and it is the entrepreneur who succeeds when there is a down economy.
The reason for this is that it is the entrepreneur who takes advantage of new ideas and new marketing plans to successfully drive their business in the right direction. However, entrepreneurs, while they are incredibly motivated, also tend to like to do things themselves. If there is a Do-It-Yourself challenge out there, the entrepreneur is typically the first person in line.
Now, this isn't always a bad thing. However, everyone has their strengths. One entrepreneur might be a whiz when it comes to carpentry or installing electrical work, and another might be an expert when it comes to computers or internet marketing. We all have our core competency and we all know what we are good at, and sometimes, we shouldn't take a "Do-It-Yourself" approach, because we are not the expert in that particular field.
