A superb resource: Stop Foreclosure In Houston

To Stop Foreclosure in nearly any city in the United States of America, there are basically only a few legitimate options. Some of these you’ll know, and some will be brand new to you.

Here are a few directions you can take:

Sell your house prior to the foreclosure auction. The value of this idea will vary heavily depending on the nature and quality of your local real estate market. If you're in a market that still has very slow resale rates, selling your home could be a challenge. Ask a local real estate agent to determine the average number of days on the market for properties in your area.

Initiate a loan modification. A loan modification is a process through which your lender changes the payment terms of your loan to more closely match your ability to pay. While this is not a guarantee, loan modifications have become more popular in the last 12 months.

Refinance the property. If you are not yet fully into the foreclosure process but have reason to expect you will fall behind on your payments, it may be wise to try to refinance your mortgage to a lower rate. If your property is worth less than the balance of the mortgage, you’ll want to inquire regarding a “short refinance”, which is when a lender forgives a portion of the debt against you in order for you to refinance your property and pay off the remainder of the debt you owe.

When you're trying to stop a foreclosure, the key is fast action.

Warning: Be very wary of people who aggressively attempt to purchase your home for investment purposes. While there are many legitimate real estate investors, there has been a significant amount of fraud with “Stop Foreclosure” scams, and it is wise to be very, very careful.

Please remember: The crisis you now face will soon be over. As a foreclosure survivor myself, I’d like to encourage you to remain hopeful, and to understand that your future does not equal your past!

Thanks for reading this information about how to stop foreclosure. I hope you’ve found value here.

In this section Jacque is discussing the housing and aviation types. http://www.thevenusproject.com Jacque Fresco is an industrial designer, author, lecturer, futurist, inventor, and a pioneer in the field of human factors engineering, based in Venus, Florida, USA. Fresco has worked as both designer and inventor in a wide range of fields spanning from biomedical innovations to totally integrated social systems. He believes his ideas would maximally benefit the greatest number of people and he states some of his ideas stem from his formative years during the Great Depression. In the mid-1970s, he started The Venus Project and the non-profit organization Future by Design together with Roxanne Meadows, that reflects the culmination of Frescos life work. To this day he writes and lectures extensively on subjects ranging from the holistic design of sustainable cities, energy efficiency, natural resource management and advanced automation, focusing on the benefits it will bring to society. A major theme of Fresco's is the concept of a resource-based economy that replaces the need for the scarcity-oriented monetary economy we have now. Fresco argues that the world is rich in natural resources and energy and that — with modern technology and judicious efficiency — the needs of the global population can be met with abundance, while at the same time removing the current limitations of what is deemed possible due to notions of economic viability. He gives this example to help explain the idea: "At the beginning of World War II the U.S. had a mere 600 or so first-class fighting aircraft. We rapidly overcame this short supply by turning out more than 90,000 planes a year. The question at the start of World War II was: Do we have enough funds to produce the required implements of war? The answer was No, we did not have enough money, nor did we have enough gold; but we did have more than enough resources. It was the available resources that enabled the US to achieve the high production and efficiency required to win the war. Unfortunately this is only considered in times of war." Fresco states that for this to work, all of the Earth's resources must be held as the common heritage of all people and not just a select few; and the practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant and counter-productive to our survival.
Duration : 0:3:21

[youtube Nk7vRmC8Puc]

Yes, even in this CREDIT CRUNCH?" Have you ever heard the old saying "It takes money to make money"? Well I'm living proof that it's not entirely true. In fact, the truth is this: "It takes OTHER PEOPLE'S money to make money." Rich people in this world know that. Which is why they don't use their own money to expand their wealth. They use someone else's money. It's a powerful tool. But do you have to BE RICH in order to BORROW LIKE YOU'RE RICH? And do you need excellent credit to borrow like a rich person? No, and no. Are you surprised? Then you'll love the rest of this detailed report. Keep reading. Before I go on I want to address a major issue we hear about almost every day, and that is poor personal credit. Let me tell you right up front why your personal credit is NOT that important. It's because under my system, your BUSINESS gets loans. Not you. And that's why your business credit is what matters. Not your personal credit. But more on that later. Back to the report: How many times have you had a business idea or wanted to expand an existing business and thought to yourself "If I just had the money to get it off the ground, then [fill in the blank]."
Okay i understand the commodities were traded primarily as an interaction between a producer and a supplier. But these days, it seems hard to believe that only Old McDonald is involved in corn, wheat, soy, and all those futures. So how do other individuals, primarily financial institutues, profit (or lose) from the commodity markets when all they're trading is something not very liquidable?
The commodity market is still particularly important for agrarian economies where large number of population rely on crop production for their livelihood. unfortunately, markets in these countries are undeveloped. with so many disadvantages: - falling agricultural commodity prices - increased cost of production On precious metal commodity markets (eg. gold, diamond, etc), commodity markets are relatively active and well functioning

http://student-loans-consolidation1.com/student-loan-consolidation-interest-rate Going to College costs a great deal of money. No only do you have to consider your tuition, you need to pay for textbooks, room and board. Students use student loans to pay for a number of their college needs. Majority of these students have multiple student loans. Each loan has a different billing cycle, creditor, and interest rate. One way to make paying these loans easier is loan consolidation. Loan consolidation is having all your student loans turn into one new loan. This one loan is handled by one creditor. There are two methods of loan consolidation: Federal and Private loan consolidation. When looking for a loan consolidation company thats right for you, you need to consider their interest rates. Interest rates are a major part of any loan. Federal loan consolidation is funded by the U.S. Government or the U.S. Department of Education. Either the Government or the Department of Education combines your multiple student loans into one new loan. The interest rate on Federal Loans change according to the 91-day Treasury bill or T-Bill. This may vary each year, each May. Federal Loan Consolidation rates are set on the US Treasury and by the Congress. The Federal interest rate is the weighted average of student loan interest rates. The interest rate for Stafford loans will be the T-Bill plus 1.7%, while for federal PLUS loans, the interest rate is the T-Bill plus 2.3%. Federal loans are currently at a fixed rate, but that can change. Originally, the federal interest rate was a fixed rate, later turned into a variable, but on July 1, 2006 it returned back to a fixed rate. With federal loans there is a possibility it may change in the future. Federal loans include Stafford Loans and PLUS Loans. Stafford Loans are fixed-rate loans. For Stafford Loans you have subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans. For Subsidized Stafford loans that are paid out to graduate and professional students, the interest rate is fixed at 6.8%. Interest rates for subsidized Stafford loans, for undergraduate students are: For loans first paid out between July 1, 2006June 30, 2008, the interest rate is fixed at 6.8%. For loans first paid out between July 1, 2009June 30, 2010, the interest rate is fixed at 5.6%. For loans first paid out between July 1, 2010June 30, 2011, the interest rate is fixed at 4.5%. For loans first paid out between July 1, 2011June 30, 2012, the interest rate is fixed at 3.4%. For loans first paid out between on or after July 1, 2012, the interest rate is fixed at 6.8%. For Unsubsidized Stafford loans, the interest rate is fixed at 6.8%. This is disbursed to undergraduates and graduate students. The interest rate for PLUS loans first paid out beginning July 1, 2006 is fixed at 8.5%. The interest rate on PLUS loans first paid on or after July 1, 1998 but before July 1, 2006 is variable and may change annually on July 1 but will never exceed 9%. The current interest rate is 3.28%. A private loan consolidation company is a private creditor or company. Their interest rates vary. Interest rates are based on either LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate) or the prime rate. The credit history is also considered for the student and co-signer. These loans are variable or have a fixed rate that changes according to the agreement in the promissory note. In some cases some private student loan consolidation loans could be the same rate as federal to compete with federal low interest rates.
Duration : 0:0:50

[youtube laD3P5vvUAQ]

Once you've managed to pay tuition, there are many other education-related costs such as books, lodging, food, and lab fees. With all these expenses, student loans become an excellent option. Bank of America offers the CampusEdge student loan. With CampusEdge you can get up to $50,000 per year as long as the loan total does not go beyond the estimated cost of attendance, less other financial aid. These funds are sent directly to you, and you can defer payment until graduation, with the option to make interest-only payments for up to two years following graduation. Principle and interest payments can be deferred for up to 7 years while registered in a participating school's undergraduate program. Interest will accrue and will be added to your loan quarterly while in deferment and once at the start of repayment.
Duration : 0:2:41

[youtube _S7KiDU6KIE]

I have an MBA in finance, so I consider myself "educated" on the ins and outs of futures: I know how they work, I understand the pricing of the contracts, and I have some experience in virtual trading of futures (and I have done very well despite one very bad selection on an e-mini Russell 2000 March 2008 contract), etc. I want to start using some real money, but I find myself getting cold feet when it comes to using my hard-earned money given the huge risk involved. I've concentrated on corn, oil, and index futures, which have all returned very high profits in a very short amount of time. For example, in my virtual trading account, I made nearly $6000 in 2 or 3 days on 1 oil futures contract. I realize reality is much different than the virtual world, but can anyone who has real futures trading experience give me some encouragement, tips, or advice????
I understand where you're coming from. Here's what I did. I started off trading one contract of the E-mini S&P 500 so I didn't have to risk that much money. Once I got comfortable and made it up to $3000, I then started daytrading 2 contracts. Since then, I've moved on and have done this for a living. Granted I threw away probably close to $12,000 before I got my "real life education." They can't teach you how to be a successful trader. You can have all the knowledge in the world, but if you don't have the experience, you'll get burnt. Before you place a trade, you need to have a stop loss and enter it in right away after you place the trade. Otherwise, you'll get killed. Emotion for me is the biggest hinderance because there is a tendency to be "emotionally exhausted" which can cost you a lot of money. Let me give you an example. Say you are down 3 points on a trade with the emini S&P 500. Your stop loss is 4 points. You're really starting to sweat it and then after waiting for what seems like eternity and almost giving in to doom, it rebounds and you're so happy just to be able to make a profit, you sell right away. Next thing you know, it's trading 5 points higher and you're cursing yourself. You need to have a strategy or strategies and STICK with it. Do not deviate at all from it or it will hurt you in the long run. The key to being successful is to be consistent.

Depending on the market, oil futures give you the option to go long with the expectation that prices will rise over time. Crude oil remains in backwardation over the long term which means that the futures prices seem lower than the spot prices. The reason for this is that it is costly to hold oil in physical form for future delivery. Backwardation exists not just in the oil market, but also in copper commodities and the forex markets. It's basically a pricing mechanism that's unique to the futures market.

make power at home

Because the market for a gold futures market in the UK is too small. The existing forwards contract is meeting most of the demand. The UK market has developed in a different way and there just isn't the demand for a parallel futures contract. It is unlikely ever to happen for two reasons. First, most derivatives contracts are traded internationally now and anyone who wants to trade a gold futures contract can trade the US version. Second, because of open interest it is almost impossible to take an established market for a derivatives contract. Trading happens outside the UK & it would take something very significant to shift it elsewhere.
