do not have a car, and I've been borrowing a friends car of mine, and he needs it by saturday, and so now I will have no transportation..Should I ask for my money back
Yes. Ask for your money back and be nice about it. Will you get your money back? Highly unlikely given the history of the person you are describing. I use the rule "never do business with or loan money to your friends" Gets muddy and sometimes can be really ungly. If you like your friends you won't do it to yourself or to them. Think about that and then proceed to the next indicated thing. That's all. Good luck.
