Se bautizó como “curso”, pero como no me considero un experto teórico en la materia, orienté las sesiones a conseguir que los participantes se ahorrasen esa gran cantidad de tiempo que hemos empleado otros amateurs en conocer, experimentar y poner en marcha desde un lector de feeds a una wiki, pasando por el blog o cualquier cuenta en un servicio web. and there is no way to limit the articles included? for example, we have just weekly compilation, and do not want to send more than X articles... maybe just the latest X articles or something like that? any idea? best regards I found a way of doing this by using 'modules' in the newsletter... If you set up a 'place here' module in Joomla for a given category and specify the number of articles (X) in this module (use the joomla parameter settings), then in your News Mails Configuration you set the Module1 to be the name of your new modules and within the HTML for the newsletter you add the text [moduletitle1] [modulecontent1] to include the content of that module. You will need to remember not to include that category in the compilation, otherwise your articles will appear twice... This works a treat for us and we use it to include a limited number of 'case studies' in our newsletter as well as an introduction written each time (set the module to include only the latest article in that category!). In your case you could create a weekly newsletter that sends out the latest X articles from one category (and you could repeat that for another 5 categories using the same method). As you can see Vemod is really powerful if you think laterally and it is a real shame that other commitments prevent further development of this FABULOUS component. This is important for not only aesthetic reasons but also for creating a wonderful sense of consistency and familiarity to the website. At times clients will already have a particular color scheme in mind (say, two or three colors) or they will at least have one color they want the site to work around. If they aren’t sure then I will see what their graphical content is (logo, photos, icons, etc) for their website and see if I can find something to work with from there.

Conky, a fork of torsmo, has been around for a long time but new Linux users usually stay away from it because customizing it requires editing the scripted configuration file, which can be a bit intimidating for new users.
