Google har släppt Google Maps for Mobile, som är en installerbar applikation för mobiltelefoner. Det innebär att man kan se trafikstockningar i realtid, få punkt till punkt kör-instruktioner, spara favoritplatser eller hela rutter, få företagsinformation mm.

Förutom att vara mycket tunn (9.4mm), så har W880 inga större överraskningar. 1.8 tum TFT display med QVGA upplösning (240x320), 3G (ej Turbo-3G), 2 megapixel kamera, mediaspelare, TrackID, 32MB internminne, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0. Taltiden är 7 timmar med GSM och 3 timmar med 3G.
