I have realized something about myself in the last few weeks…I’m fickle. And I apologize for this. Why it took me so long to realize, I don’t know. On the other hand, maybe I’m not fickle! In practice, there are many social browsing services, del.icio.us being perhaps one of the earlier ones. I have an account there, but I didn’t like the look and feel of it and BlinkList just struck a chord with me.

Blinklist is relatively new, but offers some great features and functionality. It doesn’t have as many users as some of the other services, but considering the quality of the service, and the obvious level of attention which it gets from its developers, I’m sure this will change soon. Definitely an A+ site, for sure.

After writing about Del.icio.us in a previous post, I received a comment from the folks at BlinkList.com regarding their very new service that does all that Del.icio.us does and yet a whole lot more. Now granted that I have not used the services at Del.icio.us for a long time, but I was using them significantly during my one day of service there. They have a great system going on. It is just that the system that BlinkList uses is a lot better.

After using BlinkList and importing all my bookmarks, I have to say that this is definitely one of the top social bookmarking sites today, if not the best. It`s fast, reliable, and it has so many options that make it a service that everyone can probably find a use for. Not to mention, the user interface is easy to understand and pleasant on the eyes (especially when compared to del.icio.us). Hopefully, more people will catch on to this great addition to the social bookmarking world.

First off, ditch your del.icio.us list and migrate to blinklist. Why? It’s tagging system makes more sense, the interface is more intuitive, and it just looks better.
