PEARLIE ROBERSON AWARD<br /> CALL FOR PROPOSALS<br /> 2005<br /> <br /> Purpose: To provide financial support for a project, undertaken by a student or professional art therapist, and targeted at exploring or explaining the multicultural aspects and capacities of art therapy.<br /> <br /> The project might be a written document (article or book), artwork/exhibit, artwork/ written document/spoken materials/video, script, or other form. Winning project(s) will be exhibited at the Annual Conference of the American Art Therapy Association, and be available to travel to various state and regional meetings. Projects will remain the intellectual property of the artist/grantee.<br /> <br /> Grant Application Criteria:<br /> <br /> *<br /> Active membership in the American Art Therapy Association required.<br /> *<br /> Open to all members, based on merit of project proposal not just financial need.<br /> *<br /> Completed applications package for awards should be postmarked Dec 15 in 2006 and 2008 prior to the Award Years 2007 and 2009. for review by the Multicultural Committee of the American Art Therapy Association. Applications may be obtained by contacting AATA’s toll-free number (888) 290-0878.<br /> *<br /> Proposal of no more than three (3) pages (typed, double-spaced), outlining the project and basis of need for financial support. Description of project and goals (Details below).<br /> *<br /> Three (3) letters of recommendation at least one (1) of which is from a current member of AATA.
